Our Team

Owners: Chris & Natalie Tom

Chris and Natalie moved to Pagosa Springs, Colorado from Phoenix, AZ in 2009, bringing with them a passion for quality service and community. Chris is an ASE-certified technician with 10 years experience at a GM dealership and an Associate’s in Automotive Technology. His wife, Natalie, holds a Bachelor’s in Hospitality from NAU. Together they opened CT’s Automotive later that year. Since then, the shop has continued to grow, fueled by a commitment to honest, reliable work and a deep appreciation for the people we serve and the dedicated team that makes it all possible.

Since opening, they've been blessed with two sons who keep the family busy with their love of soccer, sending them on adventures all over the four corners area.

LEAD TECH: DAVID

David joined our team in 2016 from Pueblo, CO. He's a proud father of two daughters and a son, and his wife works in health care at a local assisted living facility. Outside the shop, David enjoys off-roading in his Jeep, fishing with his kids, and exploring the art of mead brewing. David holds several ASE Certifications and, amongst his many talents in automotive technology, he shines in his ability to diagnose and repair complicated electrical problems. David is a dedicated leader, known for his playful energy and strong mentorship.

TECHNICIAN: KEVIN

Kevin joined our team in 2022 and brings both skill and heart to our shop. As a proud father of four—two biological children and two stepdaughters—Kevin’s life is filled with family adventures, from camping trips to backyard cookouts. He brings that joy into the shop by decorating his truck to match the seasons and holidays.

With a strong foundation in mechanical repair, including being ASE Certified, Kevin is continually sharpening his diagnostic skills under the mentorship of our lead technician, David. He also plays an essential role in training our Interns and Apprentices, offering patient guidance and hands-on support. Kevin’s resilience, dedication, and steady presence make him a valued and reliable member of our team.

TECHNICIAN: CHAS

Chas began his journey at CT’s Automotive as an Apprentice and has quickly grown into a vital member of our team. Known for his keen attention to detail, quick learning, and sharp problem-solving skills, Chas brings both efficiency and dedication to every job he takes on. He has also achieved ASE Certification as of 2024.

Outside the shop, Chas enjoys an active lifestyle—dirt biking, fishing, and hiking with his family and dogs. When he’s not outdoors, you’ll find him gaming with friends or lending a hand with projects. Chas’s drive to learn and grow continues to make him an asset to our team and a technician to watch.
